Kate Walsh’s Wedding Day
Wedding bells were ringing yesterday in Ojai, as Grey’s Anatomy’s Kate Walsh tied the knot with movie executive Alex Young.
The 39-year-old actress donned “a custom-made Monique Lhuillier wedding gown as she and Young, 36, exchanged vows at the Ojai Presbyterian Church just north of Los Angeles.”
Nearly 100 guests attended the services, including Kate’s Grey’s Anatomy co-stars Katherine Heigl, Sara Ramirez, Chandra Wilson and Justin Chambers. Also there for the “I Do’s” were actress Kate Beckinsale and actor Vincent D’Onofrio.
After the conclusion of the ceremony, the group enjoyed a reception and sit-down dinner at the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa’s Casa Ela.
The happy newlyweds met just this past February and were engaged a short three months later. Right after announcing her engagement, Kate told PEOPLE, “I know – I’m literally living the dream. But you know when you know. I was not expecting it, so it’s kind of amazing.”
