Kate Moss Made Pete Doherty Do Drugs
There are many steps to recovery from substance abuse/addiction. And Pete Doherty has gotten to the “defining the cause of the problem” step in his rehab. He’s blaming Kate Moss.
The rebel-rocker, now six weeks sober, has revealed that the source of his angst was his relationship with the supermodel, which led him to continue abusing drugs and alcohol. He claims that she dominated him, therefore he needed an outlet.
The Babyshambles frontman may have a point. After all he’s been Kate free for almost as long as he’s been drug free. Coincidence?
A source told press, “It looks like he’s clean at last and he really does want to start again, and that means not going back to Kate…no matter how much he loves her. He’s also realised through therapy in rehab that being subordinated in the relationship like a naughty child exacerbates his addiction problem. For him to agree to follow Kate’s rules, bearing in mind that she’s older and much more successful, would mean losing control and weakening towards drugs.”
