Kate Moss Has Babies On Her Mind

According to one of her close pals, Kate Moss has dreams of having a baby with fiancé Pete Doherty. The supermodel, who just launched her new clothing line for fashion retailer Topshop this week, is said to be desperate to start a family with the Babyshambles frontman.

Moss, who has a four-year-old daughter Lila Grace from her relationship with publisher Jefferson Hack, thinks Pete would make a great dad. “We’ve got our music together and we’re writing an album but a baby would be the clincher between Pete and me. Lila deserves a sister,” Kate is said to have told a pal.

According to The Daily Express, Moss told the insider friend: “Everyone is obsessing about a marriage and where we are with that. None of that counts because we are together. What counts is having a family and we need the bond of a child. Pete would make a fun dad.”

Fun, maybe.... Responsible, probably not. Doherty, who has entered rehab several times, already has a three-year-old son Astile by his ex-lover Lisa Moorish.

With a son in the world, being taped multiple times abusing drugs isn’t exactly the best role modeling. Hopefully Pete has moved ahead and will get serious if Kate’s wishes come true.
