Kate Hudson’s Bonding Afternoon With Ryder

Now that she’s flying solo (having broken up with Lance Armstrong recently), Kate Hudson seems to have more time to herself, as well as more opportunity to hang with her adorable son Ryder.

The “Fool’s Gold” hottie was spotted returning from a workout in New York City earlier today (August 3) stopping at a corner bodega to grab a copy of the New York Times and a Time Out magazine.

And Miss Hudson looked sexy and fit in a black tank top with black Capri running pants and a black longsleeve shirt tied around her waist as she jammed out to her iPod.

Later in the day, Kate hooked up with her son Ryder for a playdate at a SoHo playground before being aided by a police escort as they made their exit.
