Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson: A Couple No More

It’s magic when two beautiful people find true love, but tragic when they go their separate ways. That seems to be the case for Owen Wilson and Kate Hudson.

Apparently, it may have had something to do with Owen’s lack of time for Kate. “She said that if he didn’t step up and make time for her, then she was over it,” reports a source. “A few days after that, she broke up with him over the phone.”

"They’re still friends,” says the source, adding that the two split just before Memorial Day weekend. It’s too bad they’re just friends, though. Kate had even made friends with Owen’s family. “He seems very happy,” Owen’s younger brother, actor Luke Wilson, told People in April, while older brother Andrew Wilson called Hudson “the world’s most beautiful tomboy ... She’s a great person.”

All hope may not be lost, though. The on-again-off-again couple has a habit of breaking up and making up. “They’ve broken up and gotten back together a million times,” said the snitch. “She’s complaining to everyone that she made all these sacrifices and he can’t be in a committed relationship.” Maybe if Owen shapes up there will be a future for the blonde duo.
