Kate Beckinsale: Calvin Klein Cutie
Taking her turn in the seats of the Bryant Park tents, Kate Beckinsale stepped out for the Calvin Klein show in New York City on Thursday afternoon (February 19).
The brunette beauty was spotted leaving her hotel, saying hello to David Spade as her SUV carried her off to check out CK’s latest looks.
Aside from her fashionable endeavors, Kate is gearing up for the appropriately timed September 11th release of her new crime/thriller “Whiteout”.
Directed by Dominic Sena, “Whiteout” is dinds “U.S. Marshal Carrie Stetko (Beckinsale) tracking a killer in Antarctica, as the sun is about to set for six months.”
Talking about Kate’s casting, writer Greg Rucka told MTV, “It’s weird. A lot of people on the message boards and people emailing me were going, ‘Kate Beckinsale? She’s too pretty to be Carrie. I got to visit the set twice … and the first time was pretty much devoted to seeing Kate Beckinsale and going ‘Wow. How do they make them that pretty?’”
Rucka adds, “The first time I walked on the set I saw her wearing the wig, and she had on a little hat and they’re doing a scene that takes place at Russian base in Antarctica. She was Kate Beckinsale — she’s astonishingly pretty aside from being astonishingly talented — but somehow she really looked like Carrie,” he said. “She was Carrie.”
