Kanye West Shops with His Lady, Talks Chris Brown

Showing off the new lady love in his life, Kanye West took girlfriend Amber Rose on a shopping spree yesterday (March 1) in West Hollywood, California.

The “Love Lockdown” rapper tried his best to ignore the paparazzi as he squired his gal around Sunset Plaza, carrying her shopping bags like a true gentleman.

In related news, Kanye recently taped an episode of VH1’s “Storytellers” during which he (surprise, surprise) made some pretty controversial comments regarding everything from Chris Brown to Michael Phelps.

Defending the “No Air” singer’s recent legal trouble for beating up girlfriend Rihanna, West expressed, “Can’t we give Chris a break?  I know I make mistakes in life.” As for Phelps’ marijuana scandal, Kanye stated, “Michael Phelps, amazing. He’s a real f---in’ person. He makes mistakes.”
