Jordache Says Bye Bye to Elizabeth Hurley

If you’ve been digging on the new Jordache ads featuring British actress Elizabeth Hurley, grab a tissue.  She’s just been dumped from the company’s add campaign.  And guess who’s replacing her?  Former Victoria’s Secret model Heidi Klum. 

This announcement comes at a bad time for Hurley.  She has also been dropped from fashion label Monsoon’s ad campaign, in favor of a younger model.  The $2 million contract Hurley had with Monsoon will not be renewed because of poor sales that dominated the firm’s accounts, despite their “Create A Storm” ad campaign.

And to make matters worse for Hurley, Jordache has already begun their new campaign with Heidi.  Klum shot a new advertising campaign for the jeans line last week with Rush Hour director Brett Ratner behind the camera.

This announcement has to hurt Hurley.  She has been using the Jordache gig to boost her profile in the US, where she is currently trying to sell her own Elizabeth Hurley Beach swimwear range.
