John Mayer: Happy to Be Musically Focused
Easing his way into the weekend, John Mayer was spotted leaving his apartment in New York City on Friday afternoon (November 27).
The “Heartbreak Warfare” singer looked his usual cool and collected self, strutting outside in a snazzy black leather jacket, black t-shirt and worn jeans.
Meanwhile, John recently revealed how happy he is to have just released his new album, Battle Studies, which has landed him a little press coverage outside of his numerous high-profile romances.
He says, “I really worried about the overexposure of my face and life, and was concerned if my music would still affect people. I’ve never liked that image. In terms of the real me, the one who plays music and the other one on covers of magazines, well one of those things comes from me and another comes from other people. It’s nice to have full ownership of me again. I now know that I should never worry about it again. I can’t tell you the weight that’s been lifted off my shoulder.”
