Jodie Foster Makes Family Film

One of the drawbacks to being a Hollywood actor/parent is explaining to your kids that they can’t see your latest rated-R movie.  But Jodie Foster won’t have that problem with her new film.

The “Silence of the Lambs” actress has reported that her new project “Nim’s Island” is a film that she’ll feel comfortable taking her kids to see.  “Nim’s” co-stars Gerard Butler (300) and Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine).

Foster told press, “I was dying to do something lighter and I was excited about a movie my kids could see.” She has two sons- 9-year-old Charles, and 6-year-old Kit.

Jodie also reports that when it comes to gadgets, she’s all thumbs.  “I have a problem with electronics.  I can’t ever make them work.  It drives me crazy.  It’s the only time where I lose my temper, is on inanimate metal objects.” That’s why it pays to have a couple of kids around… they’re always better with the techno-stuff!
