Jill Stuart Draws Star-Studded Front Row

Rivaling the guest list at the Tracy Reese show, the stars were out in full force showing their support for designer Jill Stuart’s 2009 Fall Collection show in New York City on Monday (February 16).

With Mercedes Benz fashion week in full swing, starlets including “90210” actress Jessica Stroup, “Buffy” beauty Michelle Trachtenberg and “Friday Night Lights” cutie Adrianne Palicki all mingled backstage before grabbing up their seats.

Also spotted checking out Jill Stuart’s latest designs from the front row were Kristen Bell, Amanda Bynes and Paris and Nick Hilton, who all looked to be quite captivated as the models took to the extended catwalk.

According to NY Daily News reports, “Stuart’s collection seemed to have a split personality: good girl or bad girl? The bad girl took a tip from the late ‘80s and early ‘90s (not an uncommon urge in this latest batch of Fall designs) and wore black leather and lace, including rosary hip-chains with dangling black crosses. The good girl seemed to be craving Spring, and wore fun frilly frocks in lavenders, creams, and blushes, accessorized with girly ribbon-banded fedoras.”
