Jessica Simpson Says No Thanks to Porn
What’s Jessica Simpson up to lately? She’s gotten over John Mayer, and she’s got a great line of swimwear that just hit stores. But there’s one thing that Jess isn’t looking to do as a next career move.
According to Jessica’s dad/manager, Joe Simpson, “The last script that came to us was for Jessica to be a porn star.” And while it was never an option, they had a little fun with it.
"We were promised we would win an Oscar with that. I was like, ‘Eh, we’ll just buy a (statue of a) little man and keep our clothes on,’ “ said Papa Joe.
Instead, Jessica (and sister Ashlee) are busy pursuing their music careers, with Jess also keeping her hand in the acting arena. “They’re very busy, and they’re happy. Jessica has three more movies to shoot; she has a new record coming in September. If the right role came up, of course, we’d never turn that down.”
But the right role would have to be something other than another reality TV concept. And Joe says that it’s just not something Jessica is interested in doing again. “We’re pitched those a lot,” he says. “There are a lot of cool ones, and a lot of really strange ones.”
