Jessica Simpson Loves Tony Romo
Making her private life public, Jessica Simpson has opened up to People magazine about her relationship with her quarterback boyfriend Tony Romo.
“I just told him today, ‘You’re the love of my life,” she confesses. “I don’t really ever say that to anybody.”
The pop princess turned country cutie has had a rough road when it comes to her relationships, as America watched as her first marriage to singer Nick Lachey fell apart in the hit series The Newlyweds, while tabloids were all over her publicized breakup with singer John Mayer last summer. But it looks as if Jess has finally found the one.
“I don’t want anybody that’s been in my life [before] in my life anymore,” Simpson says. “I don’t even want them to have any way of contacting me.”
She also co-wrote a song for her man called “You’re My Sunday” - a tune about how she changed her cell phone number and e-mail address to cut off any potential communication from her exes.
Meanwhile, it seems that Romo hasn’t reciprocated, as there were recent claims that he was calling and e-mailing his ex-girlfriend, Carrie Underwood.
“I’m not a jealous girlfriend,” Jessica replied when asked about the phone calls, adding, “I just love, so I don’t understand when people can’t do exactly what I do.”
