Saturday, October 27, 2007 Jessica Simpson Honors Hank Williams Jr.
Recently announcing plans to leave Los Angeles for Nashville to work on a country-infused album, Jessica Simpson has taken the next step in her transformation from pop tart to country queen. The Dukes Of Hazzard actress was spotted on Thursday night rubbing elbows with her new Country music colleagues, as she attended an event held in honor of Hank Williams Jr. The CMT Giants show was taped before a live audience at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles. According to press, “The artist lineup included performances by Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Kid Rock, Gretchen Wilson, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Buddy Guy.”
The two-hour special, CMT Giants: Hank Williams Jr., will premiere on CMT on Nov. 17 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
Enjoy the pictures of Jessica out to eat at Magnolia, and with Hank and friends at the CMT event earlier in the evening (October 25).
