Jessica Simpson Gets Dissed By The President

For once in her life she’s not the one perpetuating the drama surrounding the Simpson family. And Jessica Simpson is content to sit back and watch it all happen.

While her sister Ashlee is dealing with pregnancy speculation, wedding planning, and even rumors that she’ll be in a new incarnation of MTV’s “Newlyweds,” the “With You” singer was spotted chilling out and grabbing a bite to eat in West Hollywood yesterday with her former assistant.

Jess looked casual and cute in a strapless black dress with embroidered flowers and a pair of beige peep-toed heels as she made her way to the car.

And don’t be surprised if the “Dukes of Hazzard” hottie shows up at the Democratic National Headquarters… George Bush may try to send her there.

Commenting on the ‘bad luck’ charm theory regarding the Dallas Cowboys’ misfortune this past season, The President of the United States told press, “I’m a good sport. We’re going to send Jessica Simpson to the Democrat National Convention.”
