Jessica Simpson: Country Girl in LA
Expressing her southern roots with a suede cowboy hat, Jessica Simpson made a grand arrival to LAX airport in Los Angeles, California on Thursday (May 29).
The Dukes of Hazzard actress was accompanied by best friend and personal hair stylist Ken Paves - as the two were returning from a trip to Dallas, Texas.
As previously reported by Gossip Girls, Jessica is coming off of the recent release of her first country music single called “Come On Over” - which is from her new album, due out in stores this September.
Explaining why Jessica decided to transition to a different genre, her father/manager Joe Simpson explained, “She’s a singer from top to bottom. And everything in the music business, especially pop music, has moved away from singers. And I think country is the only pure, storytelling kind of genre left.”
