Jessica Simpson and John Mayer: Together Forever
Coming as little surprise, Jessica Simpson and John Mayer seem to be in the midst of a reconciliation. The two went out on what is being reported as a “red hot date night in Gotham” on Sunday night.
According to In Touch Weekly, Mayer – who split with Simpson last Monday because “he needed more space” – was spotted leaving Jessica’s hotel, the Soho Grand in New York, at noon on Monday (May 21).
“He was looking really happy,” an eyewitness told In Touch. “He couldn’t stop smiling.” A loose-lipped friend of Jessica’s confirms, “They definitely went on a date last night,” but made it clear that Jessica is taking the whole process slowly and with caution.
“She still loves him, but he’s not stable,” the friend explains. “He’s scared of commitment. He breaks up with her and then regrets it and then begs her to get back together.”
Despite the friend’s comments, we’d bet the two will be an item once more by the end of the week. Any takers?
