Jessica Biel Passes On Wonder Woman Role

If you were dying to see Jessica Biel in a tight red-white-and-blue getup, your chances have been dashed with a cold bucket of reality.  That’s right, the Summer Catch hottie has turned down the role of Wonder Woman in the not-that-soon-to-be-released film “Justice League of America.”

It seemed like such a sure thing, and the role made sense for the I Now Pronounce You Chuck And Larry actress, given her stature and demeanor.  But sources say that Biel wasn’t as keen on the prospects as she thought she would be.

A source said, “Actress Jessica Biel has decided to pass on playing Wonder Woman in Warner Bros. live-action adaptation of Justice League of America.”

“The former 7th Heaven star had been in early talks to play the Amazonian princess, but she didn’t dig the fact that she’d be only one star among many, as the film required quite an ensemble cast.”

This news sends the producers of the movie back to the drawing board.  Expect to see the Justice League of America sometime in 2009 or 2010.
