Jessica Alba’s “Love Guru” Experience
Well along the way in her pregnancy, Jessica Alba keeps pushing forward with her work duties - most recently attending the ShoWest 2008 ceremony in Las Vegas.
The 26-year-old Pomona native shared a laugh with her Love Guru co-star Mike Myers, but recently admitted that things weren’t so comfortable on the first day of shooting the upcoming comedy.
“It was intimidating,” she told Extra, adding, “I was kind of nervous the first day I was there, I have to say, although Mike does a good job of diffusing any of that. But he’s the boss and you have to make sure that the boss is happy - he didn’t yell at me.”
In the movie, which has a June 20th release date, Alba stars alongside Justin Timberlake, Ben Kingsley and Verne Troyer.
Speaking of the experience, Jessica told: “I was honored first of all that he (Mike) asked me to be a part of it. Going on set every day, he multi tasks like no other. He has so much passion and heart and conviction with everything he’s doing in the film, certainly with the message, the comedy and the combination of the two. I’m personally a fan of Eastern philosophy and the fact that this movie revolves around something that I feel is nothing but positive energy to put out into the world, is great.”
