Jessica Alba Mothers Her Co-Stars, Does NASCAR

In the world of filmmaking there’s the constant stress of deadlines and learning lines.  Wouldn’t it be nice if every movie set were equipped with a resident Jessica Alba to care for the cast?  Fantastic Four has one.

The Dark Angel actress readily admits that she was the mother of the new Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer set.  They shot in Vancouver, Canada - so everyone was far away from home.

Alba told the press, “I’m always the first to see if everyone’s comfortable. You know, ‘Are you cold? Are you hot? You need some eggs? Do you want some hot tea? Do you need some medicine?’”

The ailing cast of the F4 movie was lucky to have Alba.  “Because we all get colds during production, and it’s always raining in Vancouver. I always try and make sure everyone’s OK. I don’t even think about it. That’s just my nature.”

Jessica’s character Susan Storm, aka the Invisible Woman, came naturally to her because she is used to telling men what to do.  According to Alba, “Playing Sue is quite easy when it comes to bossing around a bunch of boys, because I do that at home anyway!”

On Susan Storm, Jessica added: “She’s a great role model for little girls, and for little boys to look up to as a girl they want to be with. She’s classy, smart and a little uptight and nerdy, but also sensitive and maternal.”

Enjoy the pictures of Jessica going NASCARing at the Coca Cola 600 in North Carolina on Sunday (May 27).

She didn’t have time for a picture with some soldiers at the race track on Sunday - and the whole focus of the race was Memorial day and honoring the troops. Very classy.

Amen. I will not go see Fantastic 4 when it comes out because of her disrespect for our armed forces.
The Army people asked if they could take a photo with her, she walked by and said “Sorry I just don’t have time.”
That to me is completely disrespectful.
