Stepping out for a round of retail therapy, Jennifer Love Hewitt was spotted making her way to her car after shopping at Bloomingdales in Studio City, California.

The “Can’t Hardly Wait” actress looked a bit preoccupied as she chatted away incessantly on her mobile phone, looking a little distressed at some points.

In related news, Miss Hewitt’s show “Ghost Whisperer” will be returning with an all-new season this fall, set five years into the future.

According to reports, the new season will be a “darker, deeper season of supernatural intrigue.” Season 5 is all about Melinda and Jim’s new life together and the changes they have to endure now that their special child is born.
