Jennifer Lopez Wins Lawsuit
Way back in 1997, before Marc, Ben, or Chris, Jennifer Lopez was married to a guy named Ojani Noa. Noa planned on publishing a book claiming that J Lo had several affairs while married to him. But that’s not going to happen now.
The “Love Don’t Cost A Thing” singer beat her ex-husband in court, winning $545,000 (aka another diamond ring) in a ruling. Apparently Mr. Noa had already tried to defame Lopez in earlier proceedings, and was in violation of the terms of another judgment.
He’s been directed to hand over all copies of materials related to the book he was planning to publish. An arbitrator also imposed permanent injunction against Mr Noa, barring from “criticizing, denigrating, casting in a negative light or otherwise disparaging or causing disparagement” to Ms Lopez.
In other words, if you were hoping to get your grubby little mitts on some juicy inside information about J Lo, it turns out you’re out of luck.
