Jennifer Lopez Steps Out For A Baby Shower

After hiding away for the past few months, Jennifer Lopez made her way back into the spotlight by holding a baby shower on the rooftop of the Gramercy Park Hotel in New York City.

According to press reports, “Lopez, who’s pregnant with her first child with husband Marc Anthony, attended the afternoon shower, which was hosted by Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, Lopez’s producer on the 2002 film Maid in Manhattan.”

An onlooker on the scene told People magazine that the 38-year-old singer “wore a black coat and her hair up. She looked very pretty – and very pregnant.”

Lopez and Anthony are expecting their two children in a few weeks, with Jen saying: “This is a special time in our lives. We’re just getting used to the fact that we’ve told everybody.”

When asked how long her career will be on hold, Lopez says, “I don’t know – and I like that.”
