Jennifer Lopez Reveals Secret of Staying Private
When it comes to constant appearances in the tabloids, Jennifer Lopez and her husband Marc Anthony avoid them at all costs. And the “Jenny From the Block” singer recently revealed her tactic for steering clear of prying photogs.
Lopez said that it’s all about keeping private things private, and being smart about where you go. She told press, “When we’re out there, it’s ‘cause it’s part of our work, but you won’t catch us hanging out at some random place with paparazzi following us ‘cause we don’t let them. And we have such a tight circle of friends, we don’t have people calling the photographers saying, ‘Marc and Jennifer are coming here’.”
And J. Lo learned from her past failed relationships that were a bit too public, that she needed to guard her marriage to Marc. “From the day Marc and I met we’ve always had amazing chemistry, but the timing has to be right. We established early on that our relationship was not for public consumption.”
The “Waiting for Tonight” singer even offered some advice to her Hollywood peers… “You don’t have to go where everybody goes; there are a million other places that are great.”
