Jennifer Hudson: Tragedy and Heartache
Just when it seemed that things couldn’t get any more tragic for Jennifer Hudson’s family, the body of her 7-year-old nephew was found yesterday. And according to reports, Miss Hudson, herself was the one who identified the body.
According to press, the American Idol champ was taken to the medical examiner’s office to make the ID amidst friends and family.
A source from the office revealed that Hudson simply said, “Yes, that’s him,” when she was shown the face of Julian King on a video screen. The source also stated that Jennifer “remained strong for her family. It was very clear that she was the leader. She held hands with her family. It was obviously a very emotional moment.”
Just after Julian’s body was found, Hudson posted a thank-you to her fans for their support on her blog. She wrote, “Thank you for your prayers and calls. The support has been overwhelming and we thank you for being there for us through this tough time. Sincerely, the Hudson family.”

This is a nonstory. Calling this a tragedy is ignorant. Some blacks were robbed and murdered. By other blacks. I have no problem with that. Blacks are always victimizing other races it’s about time blacks became the victims. As for Jennifer Hudson, her family, the victims, and anyone who cares for them - cry me a river.

In reference to Lyn’s comment...this is a tragedy. Anytime someones life is taken in an unnatural form is tragic. Wether it’s someone shot, killed in an auto or farm accident..or hit by a drunk driver...anything unexpected is tragic. How can you prepare yourself for this? Wether it’s black on black, white on white, dogs on dogs....Who labels things anymore but IGNORANCE. I can’t imagine what this family is going through..to loose your mother, brother and then your nephew to violence is pure tragic and you should be ashamed of yourself...I just hope that if something ever happens in your family..God Fobid..that you have outpooring love and prayers that the Hudson family is in need of. Maybe you need God in your Life.
