Jennifer “Girdle” Garner Hits The Late Show
Celebrities look their best when they’re glamming it up on the red carpet. But one actress has confessed that she relies on a little “assistance” to pull off her flawless look.
Jennifer Garner revealed that she wears more than one girdle for red carpet events. The dresses she dons require her to be more of a “Russian teenage model” and less of a beautiful voluptuous mom.
The Alias actress told press, “I usually feel like, ‘No matter how many girdles you put me in, you will not be able to zip this.’ They always say to you - as though it’s something that should make you happy - ‘This is fresh from the runway.’ But what I think is, ‘That was made for some 14-year-old girl from Russia! It was not made to go on my body.’ “
The 35-year-old mother of one also told press that during the filming of her fight scenes in “The Kingdom” she banned her opponents from hitting her “boobs.” “It was so down and dirty that I had scratch marks that we had to cover up on my face for the next few days. But the guy I was fighting had to stay away from my boobs because I was breastfeeding. That was the one sacred thing.”
“The Kingdom” comes out in theaters tomorrow night (9.28).
