Jennifer Garner’s Grandmother Dies

Following a remarkable NYC run on Broadway in Cyrano de Bergerac, Jennifer Garner is back to being a West Coast mommy.

She was spotted yesterday out with her daughter, Violet, at a grocery store picking up a few items.  The “Alias” star was sporting a black and white striped shirt and a pair of comfy jeans, while Violet rocked a fleece jacket, jeans and some Velcro shoes.

On a sad note, Garner’s grandmother, Exie Mae Garner, passed away this past Friday (the same day Usher’s dad died) at Edgewood Summit in Charleston, West Virginia.

Reportedly, funeral services are being held at Barlow-Bonsall Funeral Home in Charleston.  There’s no word yet on whether or not Jennifer is planning on heading home.
