Jay-Z Hits the UK, Sticks Up for Kanye

Hopping across the pond for some new album promotion, Jay-Z was spotted at BBC Radio One DJ Jo Whiley’s home in Northamptonshire earlier today (September 18).

The “Empire State of Mind” rapper looked dapper as he readied himself to help Whiley broadcast her show live from her digs.

In related news, Jay-Z finally weighed in on the whole Kanye West/Taylor Swift controversy, noting that nobody was hurt in the incident.

“He’s just a super-passionate person.  Of course it was rude, because it was her moment, but that’s the way he really felt. I think it was rude, but the way they’re treating him…He’s on the cover of every paper. He didn’t kill anybody. No one got harmed.”
