Today is a big day in New York City, as the Yankees play in their brand new stadium for the first time this baseball season. And there to help cheer them on is Big Apple native, Jay-Z.
The Brooklyn-born rapper was spotted walking into the Yankees Stadium earlier today (April 16) while surrounded by bodyguards, but stopped frequently along the way to greet and take pictures with fellow Yanks fans.
The $1.5 billion stadium has won praise for retaining the original look of the historic 86-year-old ballpark it replaces, including the old Yankee Stadium's famous facade.
While there, Jay-Z can get his fill of not only hot dogs, peanuts and cracker jacks, but also sushi, which was added to the menu by the request of fans.
