Jamie Lynn Spears: Ready For Walk Down the Aisle
It seems that things are finally coming together for Jamie Lynn Spears, as the Zoey 101 star revealed that she is indeed in the planning stages for her wedding to fiancé/babydaddy Casey Aldridge.
Miss Spears gave birth to their first child Maddie on July 19th, and sources say that she and Casey plan on tying the knot by the end of the year.
Although the couple has been in the spotlight throughout the duration of their relationship, they won’t be tying the knot at some 5-star celeb filled resort.
Sources tell that Jamie-Lynn and Casey plan to exchange nuptials near their hometown. Jamie Lynn currently resides in Liberty, Mississippi (which is just thirty minutes from her mom Lynn Spears in Kentwood, Louisiana.)
A good friend of the bride-to-be tells press: “She loves everything about the area where she lives. She’s not going to get married at some luxury resort in the Caribbean or a hotel in Beverly Hills. Her own backyard with just the people who matter most is more Jamie Lynn’s style.”
The starlet is already getting ready to look her best for the big day, as her friend adds: “She’s already down to her pre-pregnancy weight, she has the cutest figure!”
As far as the wedding party… big sister Britney will be the maid of honor, and Casey’s sister Ashley will be one of the bridesmaids. Of course, baby Maddie will play a very important role in the ceremony - with the couple discussing having the tiny toddler being carried down the aisle by the bride and groom’s mothers in a basket decorated with flowers.
