Jamie Lynn Spears Introduces Maddie Briann
It’s been a few weeks since Jamie Lynn Spears gave birth to her baby daughter Maddie Briann, and now she’s opening up to OK! magazine about the newfound joys of motherhood.
The Zoey 101 starlet explained that being away from the high-stress environment of Hollywood has really helped her concentrate on what’s most important. “Around here, everyone has the same focus. The focus is family, and that’s a good way to live.”
And surprisingly from the get-go, Miss Spears has had an uncommonly easy time with little Maddie. “They’d told me it would be an eight- to 12-hour labor, and I was ready to have the baby in three to four hours. I had a perfect pregnancy and a perfect delivery. I was very blessed.”
She continued, “Once I got in there, my doctor was just so calm and so good it was not bad at all. I was just talking to Casey. And you know what’s so weird? I was asking him if he was okay. He was like, ‘Yeah.’ We were both so excited.”
As for getting used to the irregular sleep schedule that comes with having a newborn, Jamie Lynn says it’s not so bad. “She is very good. She’ll feed every two or three hours. When she wakes up in the middle of the night, I’ll feed her and she goes right back to sleep. There’s no screaming and crying.”
“We get up in the morning, and she gets her little bath. Then I get my bath. We have a routine, and I love routines. I’ve worked one out with her, and we’re happy going about our little life.”

Congrats to her and all that stuff, but I think it is a little disturbing having a 17 year old plastered on the front of a magazine giving off the image that it is all easy play to have a child and how great it is!
No wonder there are so many young mothers these days.

I THINK THAT MADDIE IS SO CUTE! I REALLY HOPE JAMIE GETS MARRIED TO CASEY THEY WOULD BE A CUTE COUPLE. I CANT WAIT TO SEE MORE PICTURES OF MADDIE! I HOPE JAMIE CONTINUES ZOEY 101!

hey jamie is an idot she 17 and getting married to a wanna get famous quick kind of guy same thing going on like her sister and k-fed duhhhh.....anyway the kid looks peaceful which is good....but her mom is a whore we all thought she was a good girl but seh LIED to us all and taking care of a kid is not f**kin easy at all...no matter how old you are......hope ya kno what ya doin.......and hope things go right anyway

I think there is no problem with having kids when you’re young as long as you take care of it, which for the time being, it seems like Jamie Lynn is doing that. I think Maddie is adorable, and i really happy for her. Maddie is healthy and happy and thats what matters. I think people out there who dont support her or dont like her, well, thats your perogitive. But you remember the old saying ‘if you dont have anything nice to say dont say anything at all’? yeah after all the stress of having a baby dont you think she deserves a little break? Congrats Jamie Lynn!

heyyy id just like to say.. its totally different, her getting pregnant or a regular 16 or 17 yrold getting pregnant. im 17 and i have NO idea how i would be able to afford a kid, where i would live etc but jamie lynn has heaps of money and seems to have family support so she can afford doctors, food, a house etc.. theres really nothing wrong with her having a kid, its quite possible that the kid will be better off with her than anyone else. its totally unfair to compare her having a baby to a regular 17 yrold because she isnt one. im not for teen pregnancy or anything but i think its fine for her.

Maddie is so cute....my twin sis is about 2 hav her baby its a boy her due date is July 24......ur baby is so pretty (=

I wanna congratulate Jamie Lynn with the arrival of baby Maddie Briann,
but she’s only 17. She should not be getting married or being sexually active. That’s why she had a baby. She ruined her life, in my opinion. Don’t get me wrong. I love her, but she needs to get with it.

To all people who are saying
bad stuff , well picture yourself in
that situation ( at 17 ! ) and think , she didint put it up for adoption or anything, she knew that she did this and that she caused it in the first place, so its HER job to take care of Maddie Briann (but her soon to be husband helps out to ) ( I hope )
