J. Lo’s Go At Fashion Week

With all the celebrity fashion designers emerging from Hollywood, it takes something really special to stand out from the pack. And Jennifer Lopez brought her best looks to NYC for Fashion Week.

The “Waiting for Tonight” singer’s line was described as, “fantasy — classic inspiration but with a new, kind of funky spin.” And from all accounts the duds that J Lo designed were very aesthetically pleasing.

According to press, “Her outfits alternated between sophisticated — lots of minidresses — and casual — a pair of skinnies with a cargo green graphic T-shirt. She incorporated her signature one-shoulder look, but didn’t go overboard, along with bell sleeves and cropped jackets to add chic to all that trendiness.”

And Lopez says she designed JustSweet to fill in the space, stylistically, between her J Lo line and her Sweetface collection.  “Girls who are young who are going to wear it are going to feel sophisticated in it because it does have a chic kind of feeling to it,” she said. “But people who are older who wear it are going to feel young, flirty and fun. It really has a nice mix.”
