Isla Fisher Makes a Late Show Stop
Stepping out for an appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman, Isla Fisher paid a visit to the Ed Sullivan Theater on Thursday evening (February 5).
Wearing an elegant white dress, the Aussie actress (who turned 23 on Tuesday) was on-hand promoting her soon-to-be released movie “Confessions of a Shopaholic,”
In the film, which hits theaters next Friday (February 13), Isla’s character just happens to be a major clotheshorse. Of this, Isla told press that the outfits she got to wear were amazing, especially because “Sex and the City” wardrobe guru Patricia Field was hired for the gig.
She said, “It was great fun. She really has a magic box filled with things you’ve never seen. I mean accessories you can’t even imagine — hats, gloves … she goes to the most, you know, random places, to different countries, faraway lands. She says, ‘I got these boots in Japan, I got this hat in Burma’ and you’re suddenly in this incredible outfit. It was magical.”
