Is Demi Moore Getting Too Old To Act?
No one wants to get older. Especially in Hollywood, youth is one of those commodities that producers look for the most. And according to Demi Moore, she’s getting the shaft now that she’s over 40.
The Charlie’s Angels babe has complained that her marketability as an actress has been diminished due to her age. She told press, “It’s been a challenging few years, being the age I am. Almost to the point where I felt like, well, they don’t know what to do with me. I am not 20. Not 30.”
And she says that there’s a real undertone of ageism in Tinseltown. “There aren’t that many good roles for women over 40. A lot of them don’t have much substance, other than being someone’s mother or wife.”
Moore has been so freaked out about her age working against her professionally that she has reportedly spent almost $500,000 on plastic surgery.
