Is Britney Spears Turning the Corner?
It’s been a rough week for pop singer Britney Spears. First her former bodyguard testified against her in court. Then she was told that she must submit to twice weekly drug tests and cannot drink or use drugs within twelve hours of receiving her kids for a visit.
And when it looked the bleakest, Brit even went out clubbing, a move that left most of us scratching our heads and asking, “Huh?” But as of yesterday, it looks as though the “Gimme More” singer may have decided to clean up.
The singer/actress was spotted out with her one-year-old son Jayden James on a shopping trip. And there was something about her that looked like she may finally be “getting it.”
Rather than looking like a trailer park resident (no offense if you own a double-wide, it’s just that she’s a multi-millionaire, so there’s no excuse) the mommy of two wore intellectual-esque glasses and a modest sweater/jeans combo. She did end up changing into a black dress while out, but seemed for the most part quite composed and attentive to her son throughout the day.
Maybe the good news of a budding television career helped her come to her senses. There are rumors that Brit is the favorite for a new role in a developing sitcom. And she’d be working with former Friends star Matthew Perry.

I see Britney was photographed spending time out with her son. But I’ve gotta’ say it looks like she’s TRYING to be photographed. “Oh, Everybody! Look at ME AGAIN! Now I’m Good Mommy today!! Yes, I was drunk 2 days ago, BUT DO YOU See? See? Do you SEE ME holding my son like Mommies are supposed to do?”
The Paparazzi stand outside Kevin’s house everyday. I live in the area. They NEVER get pics because he doesn’t TRY to get his face in the Tabloids. There are reports of BRITNEY CALLING photographers to TELL THEM where she is going to be. She also drives around them when they’re tailing other celebrities. The Week Lindsay Lohen was all over the news, Britney kept showing up outside Lohen’s Attorney’s office. “OOOps..surprise! Oh, I didn’t know YOU GUYS would be here!!”
It’s very sad. She is truly an addict and the definition of narcissistic.

Yeah right! Could she ever take them to a park or spend quality time at home? No, she GOT to shop!. I bet they hate their time with mommy...She clearly doesn’t like being a mom…
