Hilary Duff’s Daddy Drama
With Lindsay Lohan and Hayden Panettiere both having to deal with fatherly problems, it seems Hilary Duff would be a good sympathizer.
Yesterday (August 27), the “So Yesterday” singer’s father was ordered by a Texas court to pay $12,500 to his ex-wife for Hilary’s 21st birthday party and her present.
He was also ordered to spend 10 days in a Texas jail for being in contempt of court. Reportedly Bob Duff was found to have violated an injunction against selling assets without court approval due to his current divorce battle with ex-wife Susan.
The $12,500 was only half of the $25,000 Susan was seeking, though Bob will also have to fork over $367,537 for some stocks he sold back in July.

this is so sad :l it’s sad to hear about this, but at least hilary’s mom is fighting for her daughters, and only wants the best for them. for those of you thinking hilary should buy her own gifts and throw her own party, why would ANYONE do that?! do YOU buy your own gifts? when you’re in the business, parents always buy you gifts. and THEY throw the children parties. hilary’s father has the money, he owns a chain of convenience stores in texas! at least hilary’s mom doesn’t have favorites, and wants to be fair w/ the amount of money for birthdays. Poor Hilary though, she’s always been so gracious, classy, beautiful, and talented. you can say otherwise, but it’s true. She’s always maintained her dignity, and you can’t deny that.i hope hilary gets that big birthday bash. 21 is a milestone age, and definetly can’t go uncelebrated! it’s a big birthday for most ppl, so for a super famous girl, $25,000 for a gift and party isn’t a lot! TEAM HILARY!!!
