Monday, May 12, 2008 Hilary Duff Hooks Mom Up for Mother’s Day
When it comes down to it, celebrities are like everyone else… they love their moms! And Hilary Duff was spotted picking up an extra special present for her mother yesterday. Joined by sorta-longtime boyfriend Mike Comrie, the “So Yesterday” singer stopped by her local florist to purchase a mega bouquet, featuring lilies, sunflowers, gerbera daisies, etc. Miss Duff has a new movie coming out later this month (May 23rd) called “War, Inc.” And she’s in some pretty impressive company, including John Cusack, Sir Ben Kingsley, and Marissa Tomei. And when it came time to get down to work, Hilary says she put her timidity aside and put on her game face. “I’m really not shy at all, and since I’ve been working for such a long time, I’ve learned that when it’s time to not be shy, I go into autopilot or something. Being there with all of them…. They didn’t know what to expect of me and I didn’t know what to expect of them. We became such good friends. And working with John, he gives you such creative control. There was a superfun creative energy going around.” Enjoy the pictures of Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie out picking up a Mother’s Day bouquet (May 11).

COMMENTS Its too bad for Hil she has to be seen buying flowers with this little sh*t. It spoils the true meaning of having a Mom, of course. She looks fantastic anyway, and I love the flowers! 8) Posted by on 05/12 at 04:47 PM
I hope those flowers are legal, Hil. It would be a shame to get caught playing that bastards games. Posted by on 05/13 at 03:35 PM
