Thursday, July 09, 2009 Heidi Pratt Shares Her Fitness Secrets
We all know that Heidi Pratt has a great bikini bod, especially after “The Hills” hottie posed for September’s Playboy cover. Now, the MTV reality starleti is ready to tell us how she keeps her body in shape, as she tells: “Staying fit is something I’m really passionate about. I work out with a strength and conditioning coach 90 minutes a day, five days a week.” Heidi has a tough workout with “fully-body, intense resistance exercises” made by Chad Waterbury. The series includes full-body conditioning exercises that become extensive rather quickly “so you burn fat faster,” says Waterbury, who does light and heavy weights with Pratt to give her body “a hard look with feminine shape.” Heidi also includes some nutrition in her workout. She avoids all “white” foods such as carbs, but fills up on lean meats including grass-fed beef, green vegetables, apples and berries.
But losing weight was never what the newlywed wanted. The 5’1’ 100 lb star wanted to actually add more curves to her body. “When she came to me her butt was really flat and she wanted to make it bigger. Now, it’s nice, shapely and round, “told Waterbury. And as we’ve been seeing in pictures, it must have paid off. “She loves showing off her body now, told Waterbury. “She called me from her Playboy shoot and was so excited. The photographers were raving about her.”
