Heidi Montag Dishes With David Letterman
If you follow the trail of betrayal breadcrumbs back through the years, the rift between Heidi Montag and Lauren Conrad all started over a supposed stolen sex tape.
And last night, Heidi tried to set the record straight on “The Late Show with David Letterman,” though, she may have just made things even worse.
Montag claimed that she’s not to blame for the LC sex tape debacle, telling Letterman, “I tried to help her get it back for, like, a year. I was like, ‘You gotta get it back, you gotta do something about this.’”
As for how she came under fire for the tape, Heidi says she’s clueless. “Next thing I know, it’s blamed on me. All of a sudden, I made up the sex tape… I didn’t film it, I didn’t do it, I’m not trying to sell it. How did it come down on me?”
Earlier in the week, Heidi along with her boyfriend/fiancé/whatever Spencer Pratt confirmed the existence of a sex tape on the Tyra Banks Show, which triggered a reaction from Jason Wahler (the other supposed star of the tape.
Wahler told press, “I do not have a sex tape of Lauren Conrad and one does not exist,” to which Pratt replied, “Jason’s statement couldn’t be more transparent. Notice how he uses present tense, ‘I DO not have a sex tape… one DOES not exist.’”
