Saturday, November 01, 2008 Heidi Klum’s Halloween Bash
Besides being a red-hot supermodel and a doting mother/wife, Heidi Klum is also known for throwing one heck of a great Halloween party. And last night, the “Project Runway” babe teamed up with Absolut 100 for “Heidi Klum’s Halloween Party” held at 1-OAK in New York City. Dressed up as Kali, Miss Klum donned a massive amount of blue body paint and fake arms along with a belt of shrunken heads and a gold headpiece as she hammed it up in the arrivals area. And earlier in the day, Heidi was spotted meandering around Manhattan with her husband Seal, who was showing his support for Democratic candidate Barack Obama by wearing an Obama mask! Enjoy the pictures from Heidi Klum’s annual Halloween party (October 31).

COMMENTS Heidi, that was one stupid thing to do. Before you ridicule something, just check if there is somebody’s faith involved. How about a tip to you for your next Halloween costume—just walk around without your makeup on. Everybody will scare. Just leave the Gods/Goddesses alone. Posted by on 11/02 at 04:38 AM
Heidi klum ! How Dare you to make up yourself of my Goddess maa Kali? Don’t you think so,its showing your vulgar kind of mentality. Posted by on 11/02 at 05:15 AM
Heidi, don’t listen to these first two posters. I didn’t see any ridicule in your Kali outfit at all; it looked to me like admiration and respect. I am a Kali devotee, and loved seeing the pictures of you portraying her in such a beautiful fashion. And this way more people can have the chance to learn about Kali. Thank you! This is a very insensitive thing to do. Do you see Hindus dressing up as Jesus on the cross, and making fun of him? No!! So please change your attitude and start respecting people’s religions Posted by on 11/03 at 07:54 PM
On Halloween nothing is sacred and everything is sacred. People dress up as Jesus, as tree spirits, as Greek gods, as Buddha, and more. It’s either all in good fun or, if you’re more spiritual than that, a way of invoking the sacred in the symbol and in all of us. Posted by on 11/03 at 08:13 PM
I feel so sorry for Heidi Klum’s parents. They might not say it but I bet they are dying inside. What a shame. They certainly did not want picaninny grandkids of an “indiscriminate” race with brillo pad hair. And all because their idiot daughter likes a big black shaft. outside82 Posted by on 11/04 at 10:33 AM
Silly b**ch. Poor grandparents. what a shame. They did’nt want picaninny grandkids of an indiscriminate race with brillo pad hair. They must be dying inside. And all because their idiot daughter likes a big black shaft. through93 Posted by on 11/04 at 10:58 AM
I am a Hindu, and I personally feel as though not many people have really taken the time out to dress up as someon from the Hindu religion. I think it’s great that Heidi Klum went out and tried new things. There is nothing to be offensive about the picture. How many people can do what she did? How many have? However my roomate and I were discussing how, isn’t it the same thing as dressing up as a “Nun/Sister” or “Jesus” on Halloween. We go to an all girls catholic school and a lot of girls decided to dress up as Nuns. No one made a fuss. Therefore, this picture should not be considered offensive to anyone because I think she looks amazing and it took a lot of time to make her look like that. More people should dress up and be whoever they want to be. Posted by on 01/13 at 02:51 PM
