Heather Locklear Says No to Melrose Place

Spoiling her fans’ hopes, Heather Locklear has decided not to participate in the new and updated version of Melrose Place.

The blonde bombshell, who played the role of Amanda Woodward on the series from 1992 to 1999, turned down the offer because “there wasn’t a way to bring her back that made sense.”

The show is scheduled to air on the CW this fall and has a full cast including Ashlee Simpson, Jessica LucaS, Michael Rady and Kate Cassidy.

Although the new show is still holding out hope that Locklear will decide to join, they are keeping their options open and searching. Lisa Rinna told Us that she hopes it is herself that lands a role on the show.
