Hey people, I’d just like to say that it takes a really immature person to believe another’s sexual orientation is wrong. There’re gay people and gay animals. Only certain religions think it’s wrong to have homosexual intercourse and they’re the same ones that caused wars that ended in thousands of people dying. On the Bible thing, that’s simple. It’s an obsolete and simple book that can’t be taken literally. If we went by it then eating shrimp or using condoms would make you go to hell.

I never chose being this way and even though I have no problem being gay I know life would be easier if I weren’t. As I get older I think more and more that this is just another test and societies will overcome homophobia eventually. Wether it is by generations of haters eventually dying, crazy people killing all of us or a social change, this can’t last for long. This kind of movies make people get used to the idea of having gay people around and stopping the issue from being a taboo.

i have nothing against gay people but they dont hav to make movies about them we dont need to see wat they do if we did we would go to a gay bar or sumthin and thes actors are such hotties they are gonna lose soooo many fans

yeah so thats really rude to make fun of other people and to call them gross.  i know a lot of guys that freak out about homosexuality.  i’m a christian and i know those guys are too and i realize they act like that because they’re highschoolers.  i’m trying to get it through their heads that being a christian means loveing everyone. jesus loved everyone. he even said that, “it is not the healthy who need a doctor but the sick. i have not come to call the righteous but the sinners to repentance.” and he also told us that no one is righteous there for we all need him and no one, NO ONE!, has the right to bash anyone else.  I’m sorry that people thnk the bible is false. i know that christianity is the truth.  i would encourage every one to learn about it and read the bible and not jump to conclusions about christianity.  i am sorry that there are some dumb christians out there. they ruin the world for everyone.  but the thing is that christians mess up too.  its not true that christians are supposed to be perfect, we are supposed to follow Jesus and God and the Bible and have moral values based on all of this.  but we know that we always mess up and only jesus dying on the cross can save us and give us hope and a future.  i am not a christian just because i want to get to heaven, i am a christian because i kow it is what i am meant to do.
i think everyone needs to keep in mind that movies aren’t here to tell us what is right or wrong.  they portray an image, the problem is that people decive themsleves and follow that image.  i think that sex is a beautiful thing that is healthy.  i believe that it is between a man and a woman and that it is for married people only. pre marital sex and homosexuality polute sex.  Abortion is murder and aids kills, do you really need any more evidence?

Does anyone say anything when two girls are making out on the screen and while guys enjoy themselves watching it?

Why wouldn’t you make movies about ‘gaypeople’? I think the movie is going to be great… it’s such a beautiful and lovely story about two people who love eachother. I can not see anything wrong with that!
There are already sooooo many crappy ‘heterosexual’ movies, so why not make a really good movie about a diffrent form of love?
I also think it’s great that Jake and Heath would make the movie- I mean… it’s great that two very popular actors will do something diffrent, not only some silly, lame lovecomedy. I think you should show them respect and love because they dare to do that!

And… Love is love. Love is beautiful. And I think the movie is going to show a truthful lovestory.

well I’ve seen the movie already and I think it is a masterpiece. People say that no one is going to want ot watch “the gay cowboy movie” but think about this; what gay man is not going to want to watch a love story that [in one way or another] relates to them. Just because its not wideley accepted to be homosexual doesnt mean this movie is bad.
Brokeback Mountain has become a “must see” in the gay community. People need to stop being so closed minded. If they think these huge hollywood actors will lose their audience for participating in a groundbreaking film, then they’re wrong because they still have the rest who support them. This movie can apply to anyone; we all have our secrets.

When I first heard about this movie I was like OMG JAKE AND HEATH ARE GONNA MAKE OUT YESS!

But, I know more about it now, and the fact that two gorgeous men are going to be making out infront of me is minimal compared to the gorgeous reality behind it.

It’s a love story, plain and simple. Nobody is preaching homosexuality, if you don’t like it, don’t see it.

It’s different, it’s a nice change in the film industry, I mean I don’t know about you guys, but i’m sick of hearing of 40 year old virgins.

It’s about time the industry makes movies of substance! Something different! The fact that these two men are gay really should not be such huge factor in this day and age. I mean grow up people.

I mean especially if there is women in here who are condeming it! I mean after all these years we’ve faught for women’s rights and now your’e trying to snatch it away from someone else? You’re just as bad as the men who think a woman’s place is in the kitchen, at home caring for their children! You’re all so bloody hypocritical!

Everybody should go see this movie WITH an open mind!
