Has Brangelina Ruined Chicago? Gwyneth Says “Yes”
Privacy is hard to come by in the celebrity world. And Gwyneth Paltrow is taking back her compliment to the City of Chicago as a result of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
Back in 2003, the Sliding Doors actress exclaimed how much she enjoyed the Windy City, “because there’s no paparazzi.’’ But that’s all changed now that Brangelina is in town.
Gwyneth arrived in Chi-town the same day as her former fiancee Brad and his “partner” Angelina. She even stayed at the same hotel, the Peninsula Chicago, while she promoted her new fragrance. While she still told fans, “I Love Chicago,” the Shallow Hal babe says it’s never been this bad paparazzi-wise.
Of the phenomenon, Gwyneth asked, “When Brad and Angelina leave, won’t they (paparazzi) go, too? Don’t you think they sort of blow in and out with the celebs?’’
Nevertheless, it looks like celebs can take Chicago off of the “safe list” of paparazzi-free cities.
Enjoy the pictures of Brad at O’Hare Airport (supposedly headed to New Orleans) on Sunday (August 19), along with shots of Gwyneth at a special screening of The Good Night in East Hampton (August 18).
