Halle Berry Loves Being Pregnant

If you’re a woman, the thought of being pregnant conjures up one of two thoughts: either you’re terrified of having a baby grow inside you, not to mention the whole birthing process, or you can’t wait to get knocked up. Actress Halle Berry is definitely in the second group.

The “Monster’s Ball” hottie has confessed that she absolutely loves being with child. She recently told press, “My skin is aglow from all the hormones. I want to stay pregnant forever. Right now I just have so much joy and energy that I feel like I’ve already done 12 things today. I can just go and go and go.”

Halle says that she has decline to learn the gender of her baby, although she seems to think it may be a girl. “‘Isn’t She Lovely,’ by Stevie Wonder, has been playing a lot in our house. And for some reason, that song keeps coming up on my iPod too – even though it’s on shuffle. We’re like, ‘It’s a sign! It’s a girl!’”

And pregnancy has Miss Berry doing things a little differently these days. “As you might imagine, all I’m reading are books about pregnancy and motherhood. Right now, for example, it’s Family First, by Dr. Phil. When I got pregnant, I stopped drinking diet soda because of the caffeine and aspartame.”

Halle is looking at a March due date.
