Gwyneth Paltrow’s Pleasurable Chicago Trip

Gwyneth Paltrow made a big splash in Chicago on Friday (August 17), in town to do a little work for Estee Lauder.

The Shakespeare In Love leading lady was recently named the famous perfume brand’s newest spokesperson. And Gwyneth’s first task was to do a little publicity work for the Pleasures Delight line at Macy’s.

Paltrow spoke briefly to the gathering of onlookers, proclaiming, “I love Chicago!,” then began signing bottles of the perfume for all those waiting in line for a chance to meet the star.

After being out of the spotlight for years now, Gwyneth spoke to press after the event, commenting on how good it felt to get “dressed up” again.

‘’When you’ve been sort of in sweat pants down on the floor with your kids for the past three years, I felt very lucky to go to Chicago today and get dressed up. It gives me another appreciation for that other side of myself.’’
