Gwyneth Paltrow’s On The Injured List
Those crutches aren’t props, folks. Shakespeare in Love star Gwyneth Paltrow has injured her knee, so much so that she had to have surgery.
Her publicist is keeping tight-lipped about how she sustained the injury, but maintains that she is on the mend. “With some rest she will be fine.”
Paltrow was seen leaving a hair salon earlier this week, sporting crutches and a heavily bandaged knee. Apparently she had arthroscopic surgery to repair the damage to her limb.
With two children and a rockstar husband (Coldplay’s Chris Martin) to care for her, hopefully Gwyneth will be back on her feet (without crutches) very soon.

I hope Paltrow’s injury heals soon. If it doesn’t, shooting may be delayed and further scenes with Paltrow may not include shots of her knee. That would be a shame since legs are important in superhero movies, especially in Iron Man, where Tony Stark, practically crippled man, gets to stand on his own feet again with the help of the red and yellow metal suit. Maybe they should also give Paltrow one to get her up and walking in no time.
