Gwyneth Paltrow’s A Bad Tipper, Maddona Worse
Being blessed with great proportions of wealth, some celebrities are known to leave BIG tips for waiters and waitresses to thank them for their service. Apparently, that isn’t the case for Gwyneth Paltrow, Madonna and a slew of other Hollywood A-listers.
Or so says Katherine Taylor’s new book ‘Rules for Saying Goodbye,’ in which her heroine of the same name is a barmaid.
According to Page Six, Taylor tells in her book: “Gwyneth Paltrow came in. I wanted to tell her that I had been making a list and she was on it, but Gwyneth was not stingy, only stupid. I thought she probably couldn’t calculate 15%.”
However, Paltrow fares better than other celebrities “who never tipped in any of the three bars where I worked in New York.” Taylor adds, “Rupert Everett, Parker Posey, Madonna, no tip”.
Through her book, Taylor dishes even more dirt on the likes of Tobey Maguire and Barbra Streisand, stating that they’re paltry tippers as well.
“Tobey Maguire… Barbra Streisand, John Travolta’s wife (Kelly Preston). Almost no tips at all,” she tells.
While the book is partly fiction, Taylor confirmed through her publisher, Farrar, Straus and Giroux, that she has worked as a West Village bartender, and that all the celebrity anecdotes are true.
While there should be no expectation for a $600 Jessica Simpson-style gratuity, those celebs in the 15% and under club had better start coughing up a little more cash - or face the risk of being further embarrassed at the hands of Ms Taylor.

Perhaps if Ms. Taylor was a better waitress she would be able to earn a proper living from tips rather than having to publish a muckraking book for the purpose of slamming celebrities ( even those who do tip). You know, when an unsubstantial tip is given, maybe, just maybe, it just might be commentary on poor service received. Otherwise why tip at all. Ever thought of that?
How enterprising and opportunistic of you to capitalize on other people’s fame. Thank goodness for Spider-Man 3, huh? *rolls eyes*

Wow! that makes me a lil ill considering how much they make my mom always said tight wiht your moeny tight with your emotions makes some sense. I would not want to hang with someone that is that stingy my big pet peeve.
