Gwyneth Paltrow Smiles Through Web Flop
With Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2009 in full-swing, Gwyneth Paltrow has been making her rounds, and looking fabulous in the process.
And last night, the “Shakespeare in Love” babe played hostess at TOD’s Private Dinner Celebrating Pashmy Dream Short Film, sporting a gorgeous peach-colored sleeveless dress with black stockings and a pair of chunky black heels.
As for her new website Goop.com, it isn’t receiving the same rave reviews as Paltrow’s films or fashion. In fact, the site is getting downright panned.
One critic mused, “It seems almost like a parody of something written by a wealthy, award-winning actress born into a famous family and married to a multimillion-selling recording artist.”
Another review questioned her timing. “It’s not clear why she bothered to put it up with so little content on it. It feels like something that won an award for Web design in 1998.”
