Tuesday, March 18, 2008 Gwyneth Paltrow: Just Say No
There has long been a correlation between celebrities and drug use. But Gwyneth Paltrow is getting behind an initiative to help educate school children and prisoners on the dangers of drugs and binge drinking. The “Sliding Doors” actress was spotted at the Odeon in London’s Leicester Square for the Prince’s Trust and RBS Celebrate Success awards today. Ian Fisher won the Learning and Skills Council Young Achiever Award. And Gwyneth sang his praises recently to the press. She said, “Ian has shown remarkable will-power and strength of character to overcome drug addiction and prison. I am personally humbled by how such a young man can put his past experiences to good use and help others avoid similar problems.” Paltrow continued, “I am a great admirer of The Prince of Wales. The work he has done through his charity to help young people is quite remarkable.” Enjoy the pictures of Gwyneth at the Prince’s Trust Celebrates Success Awards (March 18).
