Grammy Party Scoop: Beyonce, Scarlett Johansson & More

With the Grammy’s comes gossip. The following is a rundown of some of the more interesting stories to develop throughout the evening of after-parties.

It seems as if Beyonce is a bit worried about the competition and her hold on the market. Many feel that this led her to snub Jennifer Hudson after the Grammys.

A source from the NY Daily News said that “Beyoncé’s handlers did not want Hudson’s name on the guest list for a party she threw with People magazine at Eleven in West Hollywood.”

"At a lot of events recently, it’s been all about Jennifer Hudson,” the insider noted. “Beyoncé is successful because she’s continually been out there. She doesn’t want to look like she’s slipping.”

Moving forward, there was more drama between sex-tape scandal stricken ex’s, Ray J and Kim Kardashian. It was reported that Kim had Ray J thrown out of her party. In an attempt to save face, Ray’s rep spun the story to read: “He went to Kim’s party and he got in, but he found the party boring, so he left soon thereafter.”

A final bit of party gossip was that Scarlett Johansson had herself booked as a Grammy presenter to send a message to Justin Timberlake, who has had reported ties with her, as well as with Jessica Biel.

“She had the Grammy people position her seating so that when Justin came out to perform, she would be in his direct line of vision,” the Daily News insider pointed out. “However, she did not want her actual seat to be anywhere near his.”
